Drum Clamps
Drum Clamp - Forklifts are utilized to handle lifting, storing and moving pallets. For facilities which deal with products inside drums, you have to utilize an attachment to be able to move, lift and store them. The crank handle is meant for operations which take place beneath shoulder level. For operations that must take place over shoulder level, the continual loop chain will be utilized.
The drum tines are carriage mounted or simple fork accessories. They are used for unstacking and stacking 210-liter steel drums. Stacking requires nothing fancy, merely easy horizontal placement of the drums. The carriage-mounted attachments reduce the load center of the drums.
Automatic Tongs
Drum tongs are available in automatic and semi-automatic models. They are used in the tight head or open topped steel drum styles. The drum forceps could be attached in several ways to the lift truck. One method is to attach them under a fork-mounted hook. Another way is to connect them to a fork-mounted jib or a carriage mounted jib. Both the semi automatic and the automatic have a drum capacity of 210 liters. With the automatic, there is no need for the person operating it to ever leave the seat of the lift truck.
Rim Grip Handler
When drums need storage space with limited spacing accessible, the Rim Grip Drum Handler is the perfect choice in drum forklift accessories. This particular accessory would work for either the 210 L drums in addition to 120 L drums. The Rim Grip Handler functions by using metal jaws so as to hold the rim of the drum. It picks the drum up and puts it down without requiring any space between the drums. The average model in the business is a zinc-plated handler, though, this attachment is available in stainless steel for the food and drink industry.
