Forklift Fuse - A fuse comprises either a metal strip on a wire fuse element within a small cross-section which are connected to circuit conductors. These units are usually mounted between a pair of electrical terminals and quite often the fuse is cased inside a non-combustible and non-conducting housing. The fuse is arranged in series which could carry all the current passing all through the protected circuit. The resistance of the element generates heat because of the current flow. The size and the construction of the element is empirically determined so as to make sure that the heat produced for a standard current does not cause the element to attain a high temperature.
